Microscopic Varicocelectomy

Microscopic varicocelectomy is a surgical procedure performed to treat varicoceles, which are enlarged veins in the scrotum that can cause pain, infertility, or testicular atrophy. During the procedure, a surgeon uses a microscope to magnify the surgical field and makes a small incision in the groin or abdomen to access the affected veins. The enlarged veins are then identified and ligated or surgically removed to improve blood flow and alleviate symptoms. Microscopic varicocelectomy is preferred over traditional methods because it offers better visualization and precision, resulting in reduced risk of complications and improved outcomes.
